i found every staff member lovely. laura and caroline at reception were cheerful. brian and waylon in the bar were a pleasure to deal with throughout our stay. the hotel location allows for many walking trails through the woods.
I found limited markings for the mapped walks. houses around the hotel grounds were very untidy. the bedroom was very warm. This was not ideal.

the grounds had beautiful walks. the hotel sent a special dessert plate to our room for my husband's birthday. i appreciated the pool and high standard gym. it surprised me so much!
the ipas centre next door. i didn't know it was there until i arrived.

pretty good stay!

the staff was so nice i thought! they had events for the kids during summer like yoga i saw. a feeding chickens and poly tunnel tour also happened plus the swimming pool i seen and playground.
i stayed for valentine's night, it was my return trip after getting married there last year and honestly was amazing at the wedding then. this stay got tainted by the heating not working in my room it did and i was told someone would come sort it.

mini golftoilet leak
The playground and mini golf seemed to be a hit with children staying here.
The room smelled of toilet leak.. It also kept flushing itself all night. I slept badly and woke up with a headache after my night here.

The room was spacious and cleaned regularly. staff were very attentive and polite. They ensured i had everything i needed. it all.
the heater in the pool was not working . management did not address it seriously. this impacted my family, as the pool is a key attraction for us.
